There’s something about a crisp November evening in London. The air smells of woodsmoke, the sky lights up in gold and violet, and the whole city seems to be out together. Bonfire Night is one of the capital’s most atmospheric dates of the year, and with the right company it can be far more than standing in a muddy field with a cup of lukewarm cocoa.
At Top Models, we think the best fireworks nights mix spectacle with a little indulgence: a good table, a warm coat to share, and a companion who makes the conversation sparkle as much as the sky. Here’s our guide to doing Bonfire Night 2026 in style.
Guy Fawkes Night itself falls on Thursday 5 November 2026, but London’s big organised displays take place over the following weekend, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November. That gives you a choice: a quiet midweek evening with fireworks popping across the skyline, or a full weekend occasion at one of the major displays.
All three of the big displays below are ticketed, and tickets tend to go quickly, so we’d recommend booking early and checking each official page before you travel.
Run by Wandsworth Council and billed as “London’s biggest and brightest fireworks display”, Battersea Park has separate events on both nights, each with its own line-up of live entertainment before and after the display. Saturday leans towards a party feel, while Sunday has a sing-along mood. Tickets have to be bought in advance. Event gates open at 6pm on Saturday (no entry after 8pm) and 4:30pm on Sunday (no entry after 6:30pm), with fireworks estimated to start at 8:30pm and 7pm respectively.
It’s an easy trip from Chelsea, Pimlico and Victoria, which makes it a natural fit for a riverside dinner before or after the show.
Blackheath Common hosts its display on Saturday 7 November, 5pm–10pm, with the fireworks at 8pm and last entry at 8pm. Expect a Big Top with live music, comedy, a fairground and plenty of street food. The views across the heath are wonderfully open. Allow extra time to get there: road closures are in effect from 3.30pm, including Blackheath Village between Montpelier Vale and Lee Road.
Ally Pally’s festival runs across the weekend, with gates opening at 4pm on both days. Expect a giant bonfire, ice skating, and a fireworks and drone show set against the London skyline. Saturday is the grown-up night, with a headline DJ set and a German bier festival; Sunday is aimed at families. New for this year, there’s the opportunity to watch the display from the Palace rooftop on Summit. Check the official Alexandra Palace page for Summit tickets and display timings before you book.
A fireworks display is only part of the night. The difference between a pleasant evening and an unforgettable one is all in the planning.
Start with dinner. Book a table for before the display, or for afterwards once the crowds have thinned. A candlelit dinner in Mayfair or Chelsea, followed by a short car ride to the fireworks, is hard to beat. Our dinner date companions are wonderfully at ease at the table, whether that’s fine dining or a cosy neighbourhood favourite.
Dress for the weather. November nights are cold, and parkland can be damp underfoot. Smart-casual layers, a good wool coat and sensible boots are the order of the evening. A cashmere scarf to share never goes amiss.
Plan your journey. Expect road closures and busy stations around every major display. A pre-booked car, with a set pick-up point a short walk from the gates, keeps the evening smooth and discreet.
Prefer to skip the crowds? Many of London’s hotel bars and higher-floor restaurants have views over the city, and on Bonfire Night the skyline puts on its own show with displays all over town. A warm room, a bottle of something chilled and fireworks through the glass can be every bit as romantic. For more ideas, see our guide to enjoying London’s winter season.

Bonfire weekend is one of the busiest of the autumn, so we always recommend booking in advance, especially if you have a particular companion or a fixed dinner reservation in mind. Short-notice bookings are often possible, so it’s always worth asking. We’re also open right through the holiday season and New Year, so if this is the start of a festive calendar, we can help you plan ahead.
If you’re new to us, our guide on how to book an elite escort explains the process step by step. Discretion is at the heart of everything we do. We only work with companions who are verified to be 18+ and legal age, and our clients must be 18+ too.
Whether you watch from the heath, from a rooftop or through a hotel window, Bonfire Night is the perfect excuse to make an occasion of a cold November evening. Tell us your plans and we’ll help you find the ideal companion to share them.
