The cost of living is currently a global hot topic, and it has had a widespread impact across the globe. Today we’re going to talk about how the continually rising prices are affecting the escort industry, and the prices of your escorts.
It is no secret that London is already one of the most expensive places in the world to live. Here are same basic facts:
Officially the UK’s most expensive rental market, far above any other region with average rents exceeding £2000 a month.
Guides estimate a single person needs roughly £3000-£3500 per month to live alone in London once rent, utilities, food and transport are included.
London ranks among the world’s most expensive cities, which helps explain why many escorts share flats, work longer hours, or tour to cheaper cities to keep more of their income.
Pre Covid Rates
Average hourly rates for mainstream London escorts were around £140-£160 before Covid and are now roughly £200-250 for a typical 1 hour booking. That’s roughly a 30–60% increase since the late 2010s, in line with general cost of living rises in the city.
Modern Rates 2026 & Onwards
In 2026 results show that in the most prestigious central neighbourhoods (Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Kensington, Belgravia), hourlies of £300-£500+ are now common, especially for outcalls aimed at five star guests.
In mid priced inner boroughs like Camden, Fulham, Hackney or Shoreditch, many escorts cluster in the £150-£300 per hour range, reflecting slightly lower rents and local clientele.
On the outer fringes of Greater London and smaller towns, it is still possible to find genuine GFE style incalls in the £80-£150 bracket, with some providers going under £100 to compete on price in lower income areas.
| Category / Area | Pre-Covid (2018–2019) | Post-Covid (2022–2024) | Current / Forecast 2026 | % Change Estimate | Notes |

| Mid-range boroughs (Camden, Hackney, Fulham, Shoreditch) |
£120–£180 | £180–£250 | £150–£300 | +30–50% | Reflects moderate rent rise and diverse clientele. |
| Outer boroughs & suburbs | £70–£120 | £100–£140 | £80–£150 | +10–40% | Budget GFE-style incalls still common. |
| Elite agencies / High-end providers | £600+ | £700–£850 | £750–£1,000+ | +20–40% | Top-end market remains resilient despite inflation. |

The data in this article is one thing, but what are the boots on the ground reporting?
We have personally noticed a drop off in the low to middle price range of escorts in London. This is for two reasons: The clients in this range can no longer afford the leisure cost of a companion, and the escorts themselves have increased their rates to match inflation.
Advocacy groups report that inflation has pushed some UK sex workers into taking more risks, such as agreeing to unsafe clients, dropping screening, or accepting services they would previously have refused, simply to meet rising bills.
On the client side, stagnant wages and higher household costs mean some regulars reduce frequency but book longer, more “special” dates, while others downgrade from central luxury providers to mid market or outer London options to stretch their budget.
Rising living costs also pull new people into the industry: reports highlight that more women and migrants are turning to sex work to cope with spiralling energy, rent and food prices.
So far in our analysis you may have noticed a lack of coverage on the high class escort industry, which is where Top Models lands as an agency.
In the 2010s the expensive London escort agencies and independents routinely marketed elite companions from around £600 per hour. This placed them at the very top of the market at the time.
By 2024-2026, some of the same style high end agencies cluster more heavily in the £750-£1,000+ band, implying a rough 20-40% uplift at the luxury end over the past decade, compared with the 30-60% rise seen in mainstream £140-£160 to £200-£250 brackets.
Compared to the dramatic shift in the lower price ranges, high class escort providers in London are less affected.
Overall, not really. We are grateful that the competition in London is so fierce that no provider has been able to price gouge or jack up the rates of bookings to an unfair price.
We will note that a moderate amount of ladies representing Top Models have moved out of our £600/h bracket, and tend to start at £750/h. So the high end industry is not completely untouched, just less impacted.
Our team has been within the industry long before Covid and the cost of living became a major talking point. We will be around long afterwards, and we are currently trending our way to the top of the market.
